Install the Chrome extension

Install the DoRaptim extension from the Chrome Web Store.

The extension is listed in the Chrome Web Store (unlisted while it is alpha). Its ID is opmbiaopegjjcijloalolfilhcpcbogk. The engine only talks to that ID.

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing and choose Add to Chrome.
  2. Install the matching engine if you have not already (0.1.0-alpha.5).
  3. Pin the DoRaptim icon to the toolbar (the puzzle icon, then the pin) to reach the popup quickly.

Do not load an unpacked ZIP from GitHub. An unpacked build has a different ID, and the installer will not connect to it.

Updating the extension

Chrome updates the Store listing by itself. Keep the engine on the same version: install the new Windows or macOS installer, or run doraptim update.

Managed browsers

Some work or school browsers block extensions that are not on an allow list. Ask your administrator to allow opmbiaopegjjcijloalolfilhcpcbogk.
